EVENTS

Long before the great food and beer, Khyber Pass Pub was known as one of the best music venues in the city of Philadelphia. The venue has moved upstairs and changed a lot but we still offer great events!

Want the place to yourself? Upstairs at the Khyber is available to host private event.

Midsummer Kölsch Service

Join us for Midsummer Kölsch Service — a celebration of sunshine, beer, and the classic drinking tradition from Cologne, Germany. Kicking off on the Summer Solstice and ending on Midsummer Day, we’ll be pouring eight different Kölsch beers over four days. Inspired by the traditional Kölsch service style, this event skips the menu decisions: instead of ordering a specific Kölsch, guests will be served one after another from our curated lineup (while supplies last), working down the list as the day goes on. Beers arrive cold, crisp, and fast — and keep coming until you signal that you're done. It’s one of our favorite ways to drink and a perfect way to celebrate the longest days of the year.

Hot Saison Summer

We’re pouring Saison Dupont and a rotating crew of dry, spicy, and funky farmhouse/Mix Ferm beers from breweries that love the style as much as we do, like: Forest & Main and Sacred Vice.

Also, Introducing the Po boy of the month for June, crafted to pair perfectly with Saison Dupont! get $5 saison side cars with the poboy of the month all month long.

Draft Selection:

  • Saison Dupont - fragrances of grapefruit and spice (cloves). These aromas are also present on the palate, where they combine with hints of malt. There is a clear bitterness, rounded off with a delicious flavour without any sweetness. 6.5%

  • Avec Les Bon Vouex - This beer releases intense aromas of yellow fruit (ripe banana), citrus (orange and lemon) and spices (clove). These aromas unfurl in a rich, complex palate with hints of malt (roasted hazelnut) 9.5%

  • Sacred Vice Softy Saison - light and delicate, can pair with anything, and is appropriate for any season. The beer is super dry, has a nice pepper berry flavor, and ends with a gliding hoppiness. 4.5%

  • Plan Bee DandeLiason - a coolship-cooled 100% NY ingredient wild ale brewed with local honey & dandelions. 4.8%

  • Forest & Main Solaire - A special blend containing both fresh and wine barrel aged beers for a brightly hoppy yet lightly funky saison. 5%

  • Forest & Main Above and Below - As you go deeper with the beer, it starts to reveal more subtle notes of smokey roasted pumpkin skin, a gentle sweetness, an earthy dryness, dried peach rings, apple cake, Juicy Fruit Gum, white peppercorn, and an anise hyssop flower tucked behind your ear. 4.8%

  • Bruery Desert Flora - bright floral and slightly tart sweetness in this unique take on a traditional Belgian-style table beer. Easy-drinking with a balanced sweetness. 3.5%

  • Oxbow Cuvee Dei Fratelli - Barrel-aged, made with peaches, ginger, and honey. Made in collaboration with Philadelphia's Di Bruno Bros. 6%

  • Lost Abbey Farmhouse Lager - Still beginning with an initial malt sweetness and a subtle hop presence, this lager finishes smooth and crisp. Perfect for an evening out on your porch or with some fresh baked bread pulled straight from the oven. 5.8%

  • Fox Farm Bloom’d - Up front, Bloom’d delivers on the qualities we look for in a saison: characterful yeast, energetic carbonation, firm hop presence. While it’s dry in the finish, the stone fruit and lemon zest we’ve come to expect from our farmhouse ales lends a level of depth and balance. 6.1%

  • Barrique Grissette - Lime, tangerine in the aroma with that expected citrus twist that comes from lower acidity, and slightly sweaty and mineral tones that create depth in the nose. Softly sweet in the sip, pillowy, and a strong acidity that never becomes sharp. 3.9%

  • Fantome- TBA
